Garchomp is a dragon ground type Pokemon that was first introduced in the 4th gen games diamond, pearl , and platinum. Garchomp's most major appearances in the anime are top down training as Cynthia's Garchomp and the opening of Arceus and the jewel of light were he is battling a Milotic. Garchomp also has some minor appearances in the anime like in one team, two team, red team, blue team! were Garchomp is the first leg of the Triathlon. Garchomp is also in the opening scene of Zoroark: Master of illusions.

I like this set the best because not only can Garchomp be a heavy hitter on your team he can also set up stealth rocks. Setting up stealth rocks isn't that hard either for garchomp since he tends to force quite a few of switches or at least that what I have learned from my battles. If you plan to run this set or any other set I would recommend pairing it up with a Pokemon to counter or check ice shard user such as mamoswine and wevile.
